USF Bulls Walk and Bike Week: Complete Streets Open House to be held Wednesday, September 3rd from 11:00am-2:00pm inside the Marshall Center Atrium. The USF Bulls Walk and Bike Week is an event to actively promote pedestrian and bicycle safety to the University community. The Open House will be an opportunity for students and campus visitors to learn about ongoing Complete Streets efforts and projects both on campus and in the broader Tampa area.
What are “Complete Streets”? Complete streets are streets for everyone. They are designed to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and abilities. Complete Streets make it easy to cross the street, walk to shops, and bicycle to work. They allow buses to run on time and make it safe for people to walk to and from transit stations. The USF Bulls Walk and Bike Week will also host vendors and exhibits. The public is invited to attend.
