NNTA Provides Free Bike Racks to Qualifying Area Businesses

Many New North area businesses are taking advantage of a free bicycle rack program.  The program, offered through NNTA, benefits local employers by providing free bicycle parking utilized by employees, customers and visitors.  Recently, NNTA provided bicycle racks to a USF Research Park building after observing a high need for bicycle parking.

The racks are already being utilized at a high capacity.  For more information regarding the program, email NNTA Co-Director Julie Bond at bond@cutr.usf.edu.

  1. Geoff,As you know the specific scope of the South Bay Bicycle Master Plan is the citeis of El Segundo, Lawndale, Gardena, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and Torrance. We have shared the available information for these citeis. Our thinking and broader scope extends beyond the citeis and we are aware that there are other citeis in the South Bay region that have maps/bikes plans in place or are serious evaluating either refreshing what they currently have on file or developing something new. However we don’t have any specific information at our disposal for any other citeis at present. We will gladly add any new info to the site as future efforts play out.Steve
