By telecommuting or compressing your work schedule, you may be able to spend more time at home or enjoying other activities!

bullet

Telecommuting means that you work from home one or more days per week.  Certain job types are better suited for telecommuting than others.  To telecommute, you also have to be a self-starter, have the appropriate equipment at your home and have management's trust and support.

The New North Transportation Alliance can help you determine if your job characteristics and personal qualities are such that telecommuting might be an option.  We can also make suggestions of ways to approach managers about  telecommuting.
